The large biodegradable box with the paper flower worked beautifully, the flower floated over the area for a bit after the box was dissolved beneath it, leaving a clear point for guests to honor her memory.
I’m so happy that we found this resource online, as we have experienced less satisfaction with other sources, where the container quickly disappeared and thrown stemmed flowers were the only focal point and frankly seemed like a less environmentally friendly option than the lovely flower pedals we used. I was happy that I ordered extra flower petals, as some of the family wanted a keepsake of the moment ❤️🌹

We used the petals a few days ago for a memorial at sea and they worked out great. The bags are small enough to fit in your hand but contain quite a bit of the petals. Just know that the red color from the petals comes off when they get wet. I was worried, but it cleaned up easily off the boat.
